Thank you to all who participated in the 2010 Winter League, and congratulations to the playoff finalists! The playoffs will be held March 20. The playoff finalists for all divisions can be seen here. If you'd like to see your final ratings, you can view the updated ratings chart. The playoff finalists are highlighted on the ratings chart.
All finalists please be at the gym by 8:30 am on March 20 for the playoffs. If for any reason you cannot make it that day. please let Winston or one of the officers know ahead of time so that the next person down the line can be informed. The first and second place winners will receive a trophy.

Yesterday, the LBTTC "B" team played two matches: one against BOL at the Robofit Table Tennis Center in Torrance and one against Westside Whiplash at the Westside Table Tennis Center. LBTTC "B" lost to BOL, but came out victorious against Westside Whiplash. 1-1 all in a day's work -- not bad!

They beat the LATTA 5 team last night, 5 matches to 0! The LBTTC "B" team will be playing their first two league matches this Saturday, so wish them luck! Also, all match schedules will be posted on the club calendar.
The above matches are for the LATTF League competition. Partipating table tennis clubs in the Los Angeles area form teams and compete against other clubs' teams in their designated divisions. LBTTC has two teams participating in the team league competition: LBTTC "A" (in Division 3) and LBTTC "B" (in Division 4).

Happy New Year! We've added a comprehensive calendar on the Play Schedule & Location page. The calendar will be updated regularly to reflect the club's schedule, so please check it often.

The Winter League 2010 will begin on Saturday, Jan 9, 2010. Matches will start at 9 AM sharp. Please arrive no later than 8:45 AM to check in. The enrollment form can be downloaded here.

With the Youth Training Program coming February 17th, the club is holding a paddle drive. Please donate any paddles, blades, and/or rubber that you no longer need to the club! We will be using these for our youth participants in our upcoming youth training program!

The club will unfortunately be closed this Saturday, November 28, due to electrical work that Southern California Edison will be performing at the gym that day. In addition, as previously stated, the club will also be closed Wednesday, December 2, due to a week-long basketball tournament occurring at the gym. Regular club hours will resume on Saturday, December 5. See you then!

Please do not park in the Idearc parking lot this Saturday (November 21) due to tree and bush trimming; heavy machinery will be used in that lot, and this poses a safety issue. Please instead use the Recreation Department (front) parking lot. Thank you.
